To foster improved mental health through physical activity. We believe that getting out of your comfort zone and doing hard things can build mental and emotional resilience, reduce stress and anxiety and result in a more fulfilling life. 

Proceeds will benefit our charity of choice, Horizon Health Services.

the challenge of a lifetime

The Good Climb is a five-hour endurance challenge in Ellicottville, NY for athletes of all ages and abilities, who want to push themselves out of their comfort zones and truly discover the best versions of themselves.

Three course routes offer differing levels of challenge to trek up Exhibition Run at Holimont ski club, where you catch a well deserved chairlift ride down, and do it all over again (and again!). Each trip up the mountain creating a “new normal”, each trip raising the bar and expanding your understanding of what you are capable of. All done surrounded by like minded people, in an atmosphere of community and support!

After you trek up the mountain, take a recovery ride down the chairlift and prepare to repeat!

Explore Ellicottville, NY

Ellicottville is Western New York's playground for outdoor fun and adventure. With over 24 shops, 23 bars and restaurants, and 2 ski slopes, all within walking distance, you won't have to travel far to have the perfect visit. Enjoy great skiing and snowboarding, golf, mountain biking, hiking, fishing,  paddle boarding, and kayaking. Hit the nightlife and stay at one of our great hotels, condos, or bed and breakfasts.

This race speaks for itself, it’s a “Good” Challenge to take on!

We took part in the Good Climb Endurance Challenge as a preparation for the Yellowstone Gateway 30K.

The event offered three course options, ample fueling stations, upbeat music, and a supportive team of volunteers.

More importantly, the proceeds of the race go towards Mental Health awareness, which made the challenge even more worthwhile.
